While this video was accurate, people need to understand that currently, LED wands and devices are not going to help kill bacteria or viruses in the current form. The energy (watts) and the exposure time (minutes) needed is inadequate. The quick swipe of an LED wand is useless. Cabinets with 10 to 20 Watts of UV-C light coming from different angles and a 2 to 4 minute exposure would be adequate.

5 yrs back I got a kidney transplant. I contracted in the hospital an infection called CDiff. I went from 205 to 138 lbs in 10 weeks. Not being able to effectively clean the rooms lead to 10 to 15% infection rate. My last visit to the hospital 6 months ago 5 foot tall UV lamps were brought to my room a couple times a week. Since I could see the purple light I figured it was UV A. I didnt get any worse. Had a potassium imbalance having to take large doses gives me bad runs. The hospital knows something. They worried I had cdiff again I guess.

Is it possible to have ultraviolet rays irradiated inside a box with fans pumping air into and out of the box?
Contaminated air is pumped into the box, sterilized by the UV rays, then pumped out of the box to the room where the box is located.

The advantage are:
1. people can safely be in the same room with the box without the risk of being exposed to harmful ultraviolet light.
2. you can use the air-conditioner normally without worrying about temperature or circulation of air.
3. you can safely be in the room without the risk of getting infected by COVID-19 or other airborne viruses.

The air inside the room is constantly sterilized by the box.
The box should be small, preferably portable.
Such a box does not sterilize surfaces, only the air inside a room. Surfaces should be sterilized normally with desinfectant and cloth.

Right now there is no way to safely sterilize the air inside a room. You have to open the windows to ensure good circulation of air. But during the winter and summer you need to close the windows and use the air-conditioner to have an ameniable temperature inside the room.
Most air-conditioners simply recirculate the existing air inside the room, instead of pumping clean air from outdoors.
If someone in the room is infected and shedding viruses into the air, the air gets more and more contaminated.
But a UV box that sterilizes the air while allowing the presence of people and the use of air-conditioner could be the solution.

I don't understand how 222nm is safe
While wavelength getting shorter and shorter it shifts toward x ray then gamma rays which is more deadlier than uv while 222nm dosnt cause immediate skin burn or eye damage It can be lot more dangerous than that it may attack organs directly

Videos like this highlight the need for diversity in the medical field of diagnosis and treatment of different people. Eumelaninated people's are not at risk of uv light, skin damage. Thus uvc would be a very effective treatment for darker hue-man beings.
