100% agree healthy soil is key to pest/disease pressure. I've been learning/researching regenerative practices and about brix.

Good job with the tunnel, wow! Thank you for explaining about the luffa, I have been wondering why they would start flowering only very late in the season... now I know why! Thank you so much

I had so many loofas on my 4 panel tunnel that it collapsed! I'll have to rebuild it and brace it much more for next year!
great pumpkin harvest!

I've been telling my husband we should trellis our pumpkins, they would be healthier and take up less room. Do you have a video or tutorial on the construction of your tunnels?

Love this. You inspired a 3 cattle panel greenhouse here in MA. I planted some lettuce kale and some other winter crops. Wish us luck when I cover it with greenhouse plastic 😆

I love your videos Bri thank you so much! I hope your house renovation is going well and wrapping up before winter comes. As for pumpkin recipes my husband's favorite is Curry pumpkin soup. Which is saying a lot because he isn't a squash fan. I still make it because squash is 1. Affordable and 2. I really love it especially acorn squash. I struggled hardcore with my zinnias this year so I am super looking forward in your zinnia video. Sooo much fungal issues I have had here this season.

Hey I'm a little late to this video but I'm glad I watched it... I use my panels the same way you do for your squash. I did grow loofah this year I'm growing in Chicago land grow zone 5b. Those trellises do get very wobbly. The only thing that I have found that helps it if you're not worried about aesthetics is slamming at least two 5 foot t-post into the ground her cattle panel per each side... The higher you go with the t-post the more support you will have... I hope you try it and I hope you see that you will not have such a wobbly pumpkin tunnel

So beautiful Thank you! love your tunnel so resourceful for so many more than pumpkins too! My dream oneday to have space and build a tunnel.
Its so good to see those cattle panels are bendy for this purpose and they stick straight in the ground. Do they need any other supports than this?

Interesting stuff. This year, I tried a Milpa/Chaos garden mix to see if I could actually grow anything. It included pumpkins. Unfortunately, they all ripened by late July and the squash beetles wiped everything out. Nice seeing what pumpkins are supposed to do.
