When I was little, I was absolutely terrified of the dark, so there were many nights where my parents put Tangled on the tiny TV in my room, and I would fall asleep watching it. It’s been 13 years. I’m in high school now. But here I am. Tangled has honestly helped me through some of the darkest times in my life, it’s helped me “see the light, ” reminded me of all the good in the world, the inherent beauty that all life is created with, and just slow my brain down so I can simply breathe for a second. Listening to this in my bedroom - the same bedroom I watched Tangled in all those years ago - just takes me back to a simpler time, and I know that someday I’ll walk down the isle to this song 💜☀️
