Korte inhoud: Remy is een rat die constant zijn leventje in het dure Franse restaurant Gusteau op het spel zet. Niet alleen vanwege zijn liefde voor lekker eten, maar ook omdat hij dolgraag zelf topkok wil zijn. Wanneer de jonge Linguini, die ondanks zijn gebrek aan talent een baan in de keuken krijgt aangeboden, de talenten van Remy ontdekt, is dat de kans voor de rat om zijn droom uit te laten komen. Linguini en Remy werken vervolgens samen en proberen Gusteau's restaurant weer op de kaart te zetten.

Shows the inter workings of the kitchen too; the long hours put in, the imbalance of genders on the line, along with the egos that come with and anyone aspiring to be a chef can achieve their dreams
We can learn to appreciate new talent and shouldn't underestimate fresh newcomers
Many artists' work=immortality and it's rare a movie pays attention to the importance of a critic
When it comes to cooking and critiquing it it's not personal grudge it's more about the passion making it an art
Doug Walker really liked the atmosphere, the beautiful shots of Paris, digging into the rat's psyche, and the final speech being so thought provoking
