Little insight from a photographer here…the reason this is a big deal…Lebron is an athlete who performs at a public event where photography is allowed. The photographer takes pictures as a business and even as an art and (Like Lebron making money playing) wants to make money off of the picture that he took time to take and edit and make look good. So yes, using the photo that someone took (even though its a photo of Lebron) without paying for it, is still technically stealing someone else’s work.
