i used to be a HUGE rainbow dash hater for a few years mainly because of the episodes where she got all cocky and acted like she was above everyone to a point her friends had to step in and take her down a notch by becoming the new hero mare do well, the one with tank where she literally comitted crimes and the one where she ditched her ponyville team to join the wonderbolts in those game events but eventually ive learned to appreciate how entertaining she actually is, she brings all the drama and controversy to the show, she annoys me yes but i like characters that give me mixed feelings and have lots of flaws

I'm sick of Dash getting hated on... Everyone makes her out to be horrible and never good enough for anyone and I'm sick of it... It mentally drains me.. No one cares about Dash it feels like sometimes... Yet if the others die or get berated, people flip their shit then...

I would say Discord is my least favourite if it’s not the most hated, I loved him in the beginning but he ruined EVERYTHING in the last season, everything he learned and all the development he went through just to “boost” Twilight’s confidence as a princess.. I don’t get why didn’t they petrified him with the evil trio.. we could’ve got a huge arc for Grogar and instead we went through the dumbest plot of all time and wasted an amazing potential for an amazing arc…

I think it’s fine whenever a main character has a few negative moments. By not making them perfect they are more relatable

I really want to see Cozy Glow's backstory fleshed out. She could have been a much more nuanced character if we learned what made her tick. And her history should not provide a convenient excuse for the harshness of the punishments inflicted on a minor child regardless of her crimes. Please, none of this "she was an adult pony disguised as a filly all along" that I've seen in fan circles.

I always thought Spike was considered the hated for being used as a butt monkey and not learning his lesson on being greedy and being the cause of the problems the Mane 6 had to solve. This, however, changed in Season 6, and even with "Triple Threads", his cause had more to do with not wanting Ember and Thorax to fight. He gained wings in Season 8, and seemed to gain more mature to the point he becomes Sibling Supreme in the 200th episode, "Sparkle's Seven."

Well :

-Starswill is a fraud
-Celestia never bothered trying to do anything plus she lies horribly (in the comics she claims she could have defeated all villains by herself, yeah we totally believe that)
-Flim & Flam are annoyings
-Cozy Glow have zero backstory she just appears and that's all (even Tirek/Chrysalis are developped)
-Vignette Valencia will not having the worst personnality is definitely the worst EQG villain (lame motive, no backstory, just evil for the lulz)
-King Sombra is badass but his origins in the comics can literally be resumed by "my kind is evil?! guess I must be evil aswell"
-Opaline is the ultimate b*tch (they ruined G4 lore to make her seems like z a menace, for her petty motive)
-King Storm only seeked magic for childplay, how this clown managed to have his own empire threatening kingdoms and crafted a technology capable of blocking even Discord's magic is beyond me (they're so irrelevent nobody cared when Ponies massacred his empire onscreen)
-Finally Scootaloo's parents knew all along the events and villains threatening Ponyville but never bothered to check on their daughter cuz they valued their hobby then once they're done they told her to abandon her friends like WTF (those 2 pieces of sh*t are the worst characters of the show, followed closely by Clown King and Fraudpaline Lamecana)
