Jeff Lynne's ELO in their Over and Out Tour Concert goes back to their beginnings, performing 10538 Overture, their debut single released over 52 years ago, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on October 12, 2024. 10538 Overture was written by Jeff Lynne, produced by Jeff and Roy Wood, and was the opening track and debut single from The Electric Light Orchestra's self titled debut studio album, released in December 1971. It was originally written by Jeff for The Move, it became the first recording the Electric Light Orchestra after Roy Wood added orchestral instruments to the song. In an interview publishes in 2024, "Jeff cited the creation of "10538 Overture" as the first moment in his career that he felt that he could write a hit single". He sure was right about that!!

I saw ELO at the World Series of Rock in Cleveland, Ohio and it blew me away. Great to see Jeff caring it on. I could go on about the show, but it would take a lot of time Let's just say I saw a UFO open up and the place exploded.

I really thought ELO and Jeff Lynn we’re ruining rock back in the day. Now, I L.O.V.E. It. It’s so good and the lightness I couldn’t appreciate then is sublime now.
