Today: Lets move to the next area.

The Peninsula Island Challenge has 4 simple rules:
1. Realistic Settings
2. No Land Connections to the Island
3. At max USSR 2 Customs Houses, 0 NATO
4. Hard Money

Mods are allowed and probably even required at times. I will stick to Vanilla at least for industries.

13:22 Having an excel sheet to calculate how much the planned mines will produce comes in so handy here :D

1:04:34 What I'd have done here is have the coal storage directly connected to the train station. But instead of where you originally placed it, I'd have it on the plateau between the station and that big CO almost next to the roundabout. And then have conveyor engines move the coal from that storage to the heating plant.
This way you wouldn't have a conveyor engine confusing the rail DO. And the storage's road connection could connect to the CO setup without crossing any rail.

Love it!

As others have pointed out, the DO's will love that coal-heat setup :D Probably worth tearing down and redoing. Also depending on where the other villages will be, you might want to have an additional heating plant at the same spot.

Also, a conveyor engine would had fitted with the single track station. Would had been bad with a "wait until unloaded" station, but still.

Btw, the rails you ended up between the aggregate unloader and the general cargo station looks like the engineer was drunk at work :) You should probably had placed the two tracks in the opposite order. :)

Also, keep the crosses near the rail fuel stations to allow trains to not have to take a super long detour if they have just fuelled up.

If you haven't played far enough that the rail fuel station at the new setup is already built, maybe consider replacing it with the quad track one you used at Utopia, and give the exit tracks from the conmat setup it's own track, and/or two tracks in each direction so trains that don't want to fuel up don't have to wait while others fuel up?

Also: Another petition to rename Insuleu to Peninsuleu on the peninsula :) :)

the factory cross ?! the forklift garage has 3 connections :( You even used that setup before without the cross....
