I remember vaguely that, when I was very little (perhaps around 3 or 4, maybe older), my mom took me to a zoo in town. I have little memories of that time, but I remember specifically about her showing me the spectacle bears, as well as a ball python plushie we couldn't afford, and that I had to reassure her I didn't need it to be happy, that I was just eager to spend time with her. She's still around, but is currently in the ICU. Watching this video reminded me of that special little meeting with the bears, and I greatly appreciate it.

Do the Ural, there's a lot of historical places: Dyatlov's pass, narrow gauge railway, which is the only connection between several dying villages AND the place Elizabeth Fyodorovna was killed, the spot where the other Romanovs died is not far away, too. A tower inspired by tower of Piza but was intentionally built tilted (and, allegedly, with secret rooms and a dungeon). Ural mountains with their gemstones, of course. We also have region specific cryptids, like Russian version of hoopsnake, which can leave a trail of gold behind, a giant meow meow that can swim underground and has big burning ears (it's friendly), Poloz, a huge toxic snake with man's face, etc etc. There are lots of places, hot springs, a natural underground fire that always burns, cave paintings, I'll waste a lot of time writing them down
