You nailed it on the head! I have a brother I haven't heard from in a couple of years because of a misunderstanding. Now he's completely blocked me electronically, returned cards I've sent to him unopened and lives over two thousand miles away so I can't try to stop in. It kills me inside knowing I'm losing my brother for no reason at all but he won't listen. Communication is everything in every type of relationship. Without it, we fail. Great reaction, wonderful words of wisdom and a fantastic song that takes me back to my childhood!

They were on fire until their tour bus crashed. She was seriously injured. I believe it broke her back, if I remember correctly. It took her a long time to recover. They were amazing live too

Gloria has my secret crush...She's Extremely talented & Beautiful..She's a prolific singer/songwriter..From her time w/the Sound Machine through her solo career, Afro-Latin beats to her soulful ballads, her traditional Spanish language love songs, her awsome collaborations, e.g.: her 90 Milas Album w/Celia Cruz, Carlos Santana and more..She also has a huge international songbook! Covering her own songs in Portuguese ❤! I could go on and on! But I'll let you discover her menagerie of awesome music on your own...I sincerely hope you expand your eclectic music horizons to include her musical varietal.

In addition to her original great songs, Gloria also did some wonderful cover versions in her 1994 album 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me' including 'It's Too Late', 'Everlasting Love', 'Turn the Beat Around', 'You Made Me So Very Happy', and 'Breaking Up is Hard To Do.'
