Fix Error This App Can't Open Because It Is Offline, The Storage Device Might Be Missing Or Disconnected When launching game from Xbox App
Step 1) Update game and apps using Microsoft store
Step 2) Run this powershell command
Step 3) Update Windows
Step 4) Repair/Reset Gaming Services
Step 5) Uninstall and reinstall gaming services
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Step 6) Run wsreset command
Step 7) Run Store Troubleshooter
Step 8) Uninstall the game, rename WindowsApps folder, restart your PC and reinstall the game
Step 9) Update Windows using media creation tool
Step 10) Perform Reset (Backup your data before reset as this may result in loss of data and apps)

4th step worked for me. After repairing the gaming services my Microsoft store is looking different and I was able to download the game and play it.

Thanks a lot, although I didn't actually follow any of the steps to fix it and I had a different but similar error message, you telling me to try update the app made me realise i needed to update the xbox app! I'm so grateful I found a solution because I was panicking that it was the hard drive that was the problem, so thank you a lot. :)

Holt god damn microsoft store is the worst game provider ive ever used there is always errors right, left and center every time i do something! its a good thing we got ppl like u trying to fix their fuck ups. very nice video very recommended.

I am wrongly deleted WindowsApps folder from my hard disk, actually it says you cannot delete but I am deleted it called "unlocker" program

I open the windows apps in windows 11 settings and search after the game that i couldn't install in my situation it was "Sea of thieves" and then there came a file from the game then i deleted it and that worked for me - hope this helps :)
