Slime Rancher 2 Coming to PS5 Trailer

It's official: Slime Rancher 2 is coming to PS5 along with an exclusive in-game item!

Players can pre-order the game today and play early on June 7th at 10AM PDT. General access opens up on June 11 at 10AM PDT.

Slime Rancher 2 is the newest entry in the award-winning smash-hit Slime Rancher. PlayStation 5 players can now experience the vibrant world that has been enjoyed by over 16 million fans of the franchise worldwide. Journey as Beatrix LeBeau on Rainbow Island, a mysterious land brimming with ancient technology, unknown natural resources, and an avalanche of new slimes to discover.

Since the game entered early access in September of 2022, Monomi Park has released multiple content updates that are entirely new to the franchise, including a new unlockable territory called Powderfall Bluffs, new slimes, a dynamic weather system, as well as creative tools and gadgets.

All purchases of the PlayStation 5 version include all previous and future content updates leading up to the game’s full release for no additional cost.

Slime Rancher is such a hidden gem that not many people are actually aware of, the first game was so chill and relaxing to play.

They definitely need to add some sort of Co-Op/Multiplayer mode though. Something where you can either work together as a team at your own pace or compete against each other in like a Rush Mode. 1v1 in Rush Mode would be chaotic lol. Especially if you could see each others plorts on the screen so you knew how badly/well you were doing!

Lastly, the Nintendo Switch 2 definitely needs a Plortable edition for Slime Rancher 2.

This is an amazing franchise, hopefully it continues to sell well so we keep getting more future releases.
