Ukrainian civilians evacuated from Mariupol's steel plant - BBC News

Russian troops have launched new attacks on the Azovstal steel works in Mariupol, after a group of about 100 civilians were evacuated.

On Sunday, these women and children who have spent more than 60 days in maze-like tunnels under the steel plant, were evacuated to nearby Zaporizhzhia.

The site was built to withstand a nuclear blast and when war broke out, many civilians used the vast underground chambers of the plant as a refuge.

Hundreds of Ukrainian women and children remain trapped beneath Mariupol's huge Azovstal steel plant, the city's mayor has said.

The BBC's Laura Bicker reports from Zaporizhzhia.

How come the BBC correspondent never asks the question: " Were you allowed to leave freely or someone prevented you from leaving before?" Other videos show several civilians being evacuated from Azovstal saying they wanted to leave but were not allowed to do so by the Azov Battalion fighters hiding in there. The Azov Battalion fighters and foreign mercenaries are using civilians as human shields, and they KNOW that once all civilians are freed the Russians, without civilians there, will unleash the final attack on them and crush them. BBC is another propaganda spreading Western media distorting the information to deceive people around the world. How can the U.S. and NATO be on the side of the Right Sector and the Azov Battalion neo-...zis who massacred dozens of Ukrainians burning them inside the Trade Union building in Odessa in 2014? Unbelievable!

Russia has offered the people holed up in the factory numerous opportunities to evacuate. It is the Ukrainians who have been stalling. They know that, once the civilians are gone, there is nothing to prevent the local militias from levelling the place.

An interesting fact: the Ukrainians, grinding their teeth, announced that of all the people who were taken out of Azovstal, only 100 agreed to go to the territory of Ukraine, but 200 others chose to be evacuated to Russia and the L/DPR Funny, isn't it?

All remaining civilians alive flee for evacuation from Marpol and Don Mass must give them assurance of humanitarian aid and accept them to other European countries. Give them good treatment, foods, shelters, home and job. They are victim of war. Help them. And comfort them, they are psychologically depressed and fear.
