Story 8 - Umm, so who is/are The Weekend? I don't really listen to music that often anymore and have never heard of them. Like if I'm driving somewhere, I'm either talking to whoever is with me (if someone's riding with me) or listening to audio books (got a subscription to audible and I love it lol) or sometimes listen to these stories (I usually save these vdieos for when I'm at home). So yeah, don't know who that is. I only brought it up because the comment about them being surprised if someone had never heard of them 😅

S2:Sorry but op needs to stop depending on her boyfriend to make her feel good about herself.
Plus due to her boyfriend’s insecurities of course he’s not going to tell her that she’s attractive.
He loves the fact the she needs him to validate her.
This is such an unhealthy relationship.
She’s always searching for validation and he won’t give her the validation she wants because he doesn’t want her to leave him.

story 1 and 2 are both red flag stories. the disrespect that is shown should be taken seriously.
For op in 1, the fact that she doesn't want to listen and is continually trying to embarrass you in front of others is what is considered 'soft power' it is a problem because no matter what you have no to little power to control this situation.
for op in 2, this is simply a type of abuse. this is the isolation method of control. by continually undermining you self esteem, this always them to take greater control of your life.
Both these op's need to take a very serious look into their relationships, and take steps to ensure both their mental and physical safety.
