Rise In Gas Prices Likely As International Prices Rise: Alka Mittal, ONGC

Expect crude oil prices to be in the range of $60-80/bbl over the long term, says Alka Mittal, CMD, ONGC. Speaking to ET NOW, Mittal said the rise in gas prices was likely as international prices rise. The cost of production of gas has been in the range of $3-4/Mmbtu for ONGC, she added. According to her, a rise in gas prices will aid ONGC to invest in new fields. Mittal said that the company is in talks with foreign players to partner in oil & gas fields. She expects capex to be around Rs 30,000 crore. Watch
