Sakonoko is a great Evil Ryu player, Hes amazing with every character not the best but still amazing to see. Its just that his understanding normals, actual use of footises and Level of execution puts him at a higher standpoint than most evil ryu players just like the other characters he plays. And Gaz you Did great Dunno why 36 seems like such a uber high number. But Your guy definitely kept in there Great gameplay keep it up

I just don't understand. How does do people get as good as sakonoko? I've practiced since the game since it came out in 2009 and since 1992 when SF2 hit it big when I was in my early teens. And I'm nowhere close to this. Some people just ''have it'' I guess. There's no other explanation. Practice can only take the brain you're given so far.

Hi Gaz,

Any advice on facing guy? In general, I find it very hard to deal with his jumps as he can change the jump to an elbow is he see me ready for a DP. His c.light k tech is so good that its fast and has good range and links to BNB combo. What are some tips and weaknesses of guy? He seems so mobile and hard to catch with his backdash and wall bounce to get out of corners.

Hey, did anyone else notice something strange about Sako's inputs? When he DP'ed, he'd press a whole mess of buttons. He would select plink jab constantly, but it just seemed weird. I know some people wire select to all the buttons so it plinks for you. Is he cheating?

Good fighter, but not better than any other fighter released like Kofxiii and Virtua Fighter, and definitely not better than classic Capcom fighters. Fun game though.

Hi Gaz,

I'm using Cody as my main, but I also have problems when using Akuma (always get baited by elbow fake). To me, in the air, the elbow seems to beat everything. On the ground close, Guy's c.short is so good. Mid range, he has a good s.MP which buffers to the shoulder, and far range he has a safe slide.

I admit i'm not really a pro player so reactions and other core basics will be lacking, but I'm hoping you can give some guidelines what to and not to do against Guy... Thanks!

It's not about how often you practice. You need to have understanding about the game. Just pressing buttons since 1992, no matter how many games you play, will never get you to any high levels of play. Actually analyzing your best options in different situations, practicing ranges and whiff punishes and trying to notice peoples habits will get you better.

Sako is the number one when it comes to footsies imo. I'd say vortex is tokido, smartness ( does this word exist ? ) I'd say Umehara Daigo. Solidness 'id say Bonchan. Brilliant I'd say YHC Mochi. for the mind game, let's go with Haitani. For the lolz Jyobin

How can anyone on this plane of existence expect to get any wins against Sako? I would be happy to lose to him 20 times and only get perfected a few times.

36 wins in a row, for me it would be a day I would never forget.
For Sako, it's just another tuesday.
