The book "The Sovereign Individual" describing the change over from Industrial to Information Age, discusses inflation. Currency offers a benefit by adding a layer of abstraction to transactions, therby making all markets more liquid. Inflation is described as a hidden tax levied by the country for the benefit of using it's currency. The country acheives this by printing more money which they then keep therby diluting the vlaue of your holdings.

The book written in 1997, predicted Bitcoin and controversially, COVID.

Official inflation rates are ridiculous, so selective. I’m not sure what the differences are in the US vs UK where I am but it’s the same problem. True inflation around 15% I reckon. Energy bills have gone up 54%. All encouraged by the dollar/pound printer machine going Buy gold, property, and of course Crypto.

When I saw you leading to sell at -50% as the trader who masters technical analysis, it felt really crap. As if you could tell to sell the top or buy the bottom you called it a quit at the absolute bottom. You ain’t got enough knowledge to lead small or big investors, making money your technical analysis is 2 month out of cycle, i would call you a crazy investor bragging about some of your previous gains.
