DIY Mosaic Table - DIY Patio Makeover | Part 3

Step by step video tutorial how to make mosaic table from old ugly plastic table and broken tiles from sea bottom. This is the Part 3 of the DIY Patio Makeover video series.

Broken tiles are nice crafting materials for trash to treasure mosaics. You can use for your DIYs ordinary broken tiles but if you take broken tiles from the sea bottom you crafts gain authentic vintage look due to amazing texture of tile pieces smoothed by sea waves.

For this DIY project @Kate_Grechko found and collected broken tiles pieces at the beaches of Montenegro.

05:01 Grout mosaic using putty knife
06:02 Wash table top to remove putty leftovers
06:41 Final look of mosaic table top
06:48 Disassembly plastic table base
06:58 Drill hole in the center of table base (for summer umbrella pole)
07:08 Sand plastic table base using sandpaper sponge in order to prepare for painting
07:36 Degrease plastic after sanding with alcohol contained cleanser spray and swipe with a rag
07:50 Paint with black color acrylic paint using sponge in order to avoid paint dripping. Let the paint dry for 24 hours
08:22 Sand plastic table top edges using sandpaper sponge in order to prepare for painting
08:32 Apply masking tape to the mosaic edges
08:43 Paint the table top edges in black color using sponge
09:00 Remove masking tape
09:10 Final look. Ugly plastic table makeover into DIY mosaic table
