For anyone that hasn't used Silka or Silkaflex let me tell you it is the best sealant made by man. Fifteen years ago I used four tubes to seal a seam in my concrete driveway and it is still good as new today.

Rain-x or similar on the windshield, inside and out. won't fog up. swap the interior non vital bolts for Alu', not too expensive and saves another few pounds. can do similar for body panel fixings.
for the cost of carbon roof you could have better weight savings with something like titanium hub nut, wheel studs and lugs. probably even lighter hubs too. unsprung weight saving too

I think a good solution to the windshield foggging issue is to run a similar setup to rear windshield defrosters. There are companies that make front windshields with heating coils embedded in them
