It has been exactly a year of owning the BMW 318i. I have driven it extensively which is about 24000 kms to be able to get to you a fair update.
In this video, I will be showing you 10 good and bad things about my BMW 318i after a year.

Some idiot opened the bonnet while the wipers were off the windshield. Thats how you got that scratch. Secondly what do you expect if you are not careful and bang your door against a wall or another car. Thats not a defect in the car. Its how you take care of your car

Great video, but I think some issues that you are complaining about is because your model is a basic one. I own a 2018 320i m pack and it’s amazing so far.

I have the exact same chipping on my bonnet @ 1:22, i've only noticed it like two weeks after i got the car back in 2018, this is very weird, exact same spot, same 318i model, exact look of the chipping, i can even send you a picture of the chipping if you want, seems to me like a manufacturer thing perhaps ?

Seats were mentioned as uncomfortable and tiring in previous video.. That feedback changed over the year, how it become very comfortable now (9:10) :-) !!

all the features ur missing is being you have the base 318. My 330 has all the features you said was lacking and it has a bigger screen and doesnt have an insane lack of power like yours

All of the complaints are addressed in higher trims, and your car seems bare basic, doesn"t even have climate control...

You know those whining kids in the class and mama boy types. Like OMG, if you want heavier doors, more space, better paint and interior, buy a landcruiser or a patrol.
If you want people to sit in your car get a van.
This is a commuter's car. Its more than sufficient for every day driving.

If you want response and acceleration, buy the M3.

BMW offers many variety of engines for a reason.
