Oh my gosh I love the idea of Merlin being in the tree. Ties in perfectly with Arthurian legend, especially since one of the upcoming episodes is called Nimue!! Arthurian legend is my favourite topic I'm so glad they've introduced it to the show!!

I still see Emma as savior, thats what she was born with. No matter what. Right now Storybrooke is missing a savior because she has turned Dark One. Her being saviour is something that is handed off you know.

I'm pretty sure she was protecting Emma. If Emma revealed herself as the saviour, but them it somehow got revealed that she was now the Dark One... that might be dangerous for her. That really sad look on Regina's face seemed to tell multitudes. It was almost like, "I'm so sorry Emma, we'll fix this bitch of a situation so we can go back home and you'll be okay." BFFs for life <3

But I have a feeling Emma did not like the feeling of being controlled. I feel this might be the first taste of Emma feeling controlled and that MIGHT not sit well.

Arthur is being super shady. How has he been getting all of these prophecies from Merlin?

And judging from the press release, either he is going to attack Regina because he thinks that she has all this power or Regina will be unable to release Merlin because she isn't the real savior and the Storybrooke crew is getting into trouble anyway.

Wait a minute, how can Arthur fall for that? Everyone knows who The Evil Queen is. Even though Regina is now good, she's still recognized, even with short hair and no crown.

Ok i love Regina so much... But I don't want her to be the savior.. And it looked to me like Emma didn't like the sound of that either, I want Emma to be the savior even as the Dark one 😂

I think since Emma can't be the savior anymore because she is the Dark One now and since Regina said I'm the savior and she isn't is the reason they came back to Storybook in 6 weeks, because neither Emma nor Regina can actually get Merlin out and that is why Emma was kind of pushing Regina to become the savior in the first sneak peak. I thought it was fishy too but i think this is why. Regina becomes the savior and they go back and free Merlin from the tree and Emma from her dark powers. Maybe she became the Dark One is that used her powers too much to try and free Merlin and she couldn't. The way she softens while talks to Henry in the first sneak peak and suddenly as soon as Regina approaches she stiffens up and acts as the Dark One again makes me feel that Emma is maybe acting or something.
I'm sorry if its confusing :(

I love this! My Swan Queen heart loves this friendship ish relationship between them! It looks lik Regina is controlling Emma because if you look close when Emma goes to speak and Regina grabs the dagger Emma stops and turns towards Regina almost obediently but maybe that's how the scene was set up.

Well everyone was really reluctant to tell Arthur that Emma was now the Dark One. I think if Emma claimed she was the savior, they would have to explain a whole lot of stuff that Emma obviously does not want to share.
Regina's main purpose is to save Emma and get everyone home, so I don't think "taking credit" was her purpose. However, it does make me wonder if this is part of what Emma was saying they should all be punished for....

Awe. The Team Regina in me can't help but wonder if she's also doing it for Emma's protection. Like maybe Regina just doesn't trust Arthur. But I can't help but wonder if this the thing that Emma was talking about in the premier. I could be wrong, but I'm thinking that maybe the group has been using that dagger on Emma more then they should've or needed to. And that resentment is what turned her into the Dark One.

1:09, she looked a little sad. I love Regina, she is my favorite character by far, but I think she was a little mean in this scene. If you don't think she was, could you maybe explain your reasoning.

Does anyone saw how Arthur grab Excalibur when he was talking about the Dark One, i am thinking that he may know his sword missing part is the DO dagger....i a wodering if/when Excalibur is complete whoever to posses the sword could control the dark one? or the Dark One will be free again?....i'm thinking that if Emma pull out Excalibur from the stone like Merlin told her not to it will separate the 2 versions of Emma, the lightone and the dark one....but that's just a thought...
