Hello Suzie, Finally arrived home in France after a marathon journey, Your vlog so raised my spirits. After opening the door for the first time I discovered that the house has suffered major water damage when they replaced the roof last year and the smell etc was unbelievable, 2 weeks later with constant airing things are getting better, just waiting now for the inside refurb to start. Your beautiful vlog gives me hope that all the beautiful things that are coming will turn this pigs ear into the proverbial silk purse. Funny how the word "luxury" can be so individual. For me to consider to be "luxurious, " I must have lots of textures, rich colors, books, plants, and objects with patina. I need LAYERS for me to use the word "sumptuous".
