What happens if you leave the black king on f4 and move the pawn to g3? Wherever the white king goes, keep the black king adjacent to the pawn.

For black correct move is Kh3, not Kf4. Kf4 is lost of time

If you play the right move, black will win.

Why move the black king if you can just push the pawn, then the white king will only have to move back or move to h3. After that, it is game over, no matter what. Your only chance of draw in that situation is if you move father away.

If the pawn is on either side rank, white can force a draw. If the pawn is in any of the middle ranks, black can force a mate.

It's help that Black is not stupid the only logical square for the black is h3 at the first move and normaly black wins.

If I was black I would never leave the pawn unprotected! I was lost on that part.🤔. I would put the king behind the pawn which would change things a little. Because you only get one move at a time.
