Jude Imhanriaegbe came in to the Den to pitch his business, Manufacturing Hub Limited, a POS manufacturer.
Asking for N20 Million in return for a 10% stake in his company, he however failed to convince the Lions on how legitimate his business.

“It's not just passion that drives business. It's knowledge, skills, devices & a whole host of coders to build something as simple as a POS Terminal.”

I believe Jude had no idea that he has no idea of what he was into and would be meeting people who has a lot of ideas about what he has no idea about

This guy thought he came for a job interview, he spoke more about his work experience than the product he is building. He truly wanted to use the money for something else

700k personal Investment in a business worth 200m (potentially). It doesn't add up. They asked for facts, he replied with stories. Let's be honest, such idea can't float.

Phrases I can't let go off my head
"Here comes Jude, with a straight face and levelled head"
"All we have done is to build a hungry team"
"I have been unsettling as a child"
"The financial burden has been on me, I have personally invested 700k"
"By then I have gotten admission into university doing medicals"

This man's business pitch is the proverbial of building castles in the air. Lol

How do people get this kind of opportunities without doing adequate preparation and consultation. Quite funny!

Without discounting the fact that this guy may have a vision…. I have to say he seems to be the example of what’s wrong with entrepreneurship in Nigeria (and am only using Nigeria as an example) people think oh! I just need the money to start business…. Or once I get the money I will do this or do that.
It doesn’t work that way, you have to be ready for when the opportunity will come and not the other way round.

This guy crammed the whole presentation.
Proof of Knowledge and Understanding is simplicity in explanation.

Telling him that he needed the money for something else was an indirect and polite way of telling him he's scammer.

“The finicicial burden has been on me”
“I personally invested #700, 000”
And supposedly the company is worth #200mil. HOW, cuz I’m lost here 😂😂😭😭

My guy thought that this was going to be like reciting memory verse in Sunday school 😂. I was actually very impressed by how intelligent and highly knowledgeable the lions were.

Some people's business is at this stage and they are somewhere blaming there rich uncles of not supporting their business. I mean, who finances a business that doesn't have products, services and clarity?
This is a great lesson.

This is so confusing and distracting. I don't understand why he is here and there.
