Just a word of caution- Silkies and Polish may struggle with the cold weather make sure they stay dry or else when it gets cold they may freeze because they are not water proof-

If you want to expand the main flock- Silkies go broody like clockwork.

But it’s a lovely breed for your children to watch, play with, and look after ❤

I love those chicken I was just looking at a white created Polish chickens 😍 they are my favorite.
The aware that the white crest are so hard to keep white. Get them used to taking bath early in life. Mine was ok with letting me rinse her but you need to be able to turn them upside down under the faucet to get the front clean and my baby would get too stressed for that mess, so her nickname was Dirty Birdie 4:23 😂😂

Silkies are one of breeds that are more prone to diseases Because of their fluffy like fur feathers you must assure that they don't get wet, they also don't like hot weather.

I bought the next size bigger 900+ at Tractor Supply....it's been great for 7 hens...I am 5'10 tall enough for me to stand in pen and coop...cross bars add a spot for hanging water and feed...yours is cute...
