Playing My Composition Live at Shoreditch Treehouse. Autumn Forest. #pianoday #composition

I was selected as the opening act for Shoreditch Treehouse Piano Day 2024. It was a really great evening.

This is my semi-improvised composition "Autumn Forest", which I opened the show with.

Congratulations! That is a well deserved honour! This piece is magnificent. It paints a picture of leaves falling gently in autumn's breeze. The mixed tempo of the tinkling right hand coupled with the strong and deliberate melody of the left hand made for a delightful multilayered feast for the ears. The build up throughout the song to the peak and then the drop off was reminiscent of watching a storm approach, then the chaos of fury with the abating bringing back the peaceful setting. At the end, I swear I heard the drop of water falling off the wet vegetation. You should be very proud of your composition. Me thinks it to be a masterpiece. I am truly excited to be along with you on your musical journey. Thanks for sharing your lovely gift with the world. Cheers.
