The Guest List was a huge success in the UK too and I keep thinking about picking it up - a retelling of And Then There Were None sounds great

Re: Your upcoming video, as a millennial, I literally can't comprehend how anyone meets a potential significant other in person as an adult anymore. My first serious boyfriend was someone I met in person, but that's because we lived in the same hometown, went to the same school, and had been friends for 4 years before we started dating.

I met my second and current boyfriend (whom I've been with for 1.5 years) on Bumble. I used to be really skeptical about finding a serious relationship on dating apps, but now I have no idea how adults are supposed to meet romantic partners in any other way, regardless of whether or not we're in the middle of a global pandemic. Going up and talking to a stranger in a social space seems like such a foreign idea. As recently as a few months ago, I felt really uncomfortable telling people I'd met my SO on an app, but it increasingly seems like that's the most common place most people meet their partners.

And honestly, you could take most of what I just said and apply it to finding friends too. My only close friends are people I've known for 10+ years or my boyfriend's friends. I know I'm only the billionth person to say this, but I really do believe that the advent of the internet is making us lose our grasp on social skills in real life.

I haven't heard of My Heart A Chainsaw but I have a couple of Stephen Graham Jones on my list and I'm definitely adding it to my list!

Okay, weird!! I literally finished Find Her last night! I am reading them in order, but no, you don’t need to read them all. You do understand more of the main character’s journey but it’s for sure not needed, Gardner gives you all you need to know to enjoy the story. I think you’d enjoy. Doubt it’d be your favorite, but Gardner has become my 2nd favorite thriller author behind Karin Slaughter. And also like Slaughter, Gardner has a couple of serieses that overlap or she’ll toss in cameos from her other books or even give a random update on her early characters. Hope you enjoy!

Wow, I watch your channel for all the great horror & thriller book recommendations & reviews. But I must say The Panic Years, to my surprise, is exactly the type of book I need to read right now. I’d never would of heard of this book, thanks!

I read Find Her as a stand alone. I have not read the rest of the series but it was recommended to me and I really did not feel like I was unable to follow it having not read the first books in the series. I have to say it wasn’t super memorable though. Im super excited to pick up the third YOU book and also intrigued by Picnic in the Ruins. Thanks, Katie!

Great lineup! Adding some of these to my TBR for sure. I really enjoyed The Lost Village by Camilla Sten. I’m now reading The Drowning Kind by Jennifer McMahon (author of Winter People, a favorite!). So far, it. Is. So. GOOD! same slow creepy crawly vibes I loved in Winter People, I highly recommend 🙌🏼.

Hi Katie 👋 So lovely that the book package you received brightened your week. Looking forward to seeing what you think of You #3 🤗
Oh: and even though I'm NOT a millennial I've been thru the dating thing on and off over the last 8 years and would definitely be keen on a video on this topic 💞

The Guest List was super fun. I literally don't remember the plot of The Silent Patient, but I know I read it haha. And I'm also about to start The Lost Village, so I can't wait to hear what you think!
