Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Denys Shmyhal, his Ukrainian counterpart, participate in a signing ceremony for the Canada-Ukraine Youth Mobility Agreement and the modernization of Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement. They are joined by federal ministers Chrystia Freeland (finance), Mélanie Joly (foreign affairs) and Anita Anand (national defence). Following the signing ceremony, the prime minister announces increased military aid for Ukraine as well as the sanctioning of 14 Russian individuals and 34 entities involved in the ongoing Russian invasion. Responding to questions from reporters, Prime Minister Trudeau comments on the resignation of the CEO and board of directors from the Trudeau Foundation in the wake of foreign interference allegations in recent months.
