Thank you for pointing out how much hate she deals with. Way more than any social media trolls, she deals with it from her own league and the media

You missed what I feel is the most important part of Caitlin's answer about all this: "Trolls aren't fans" THAT IS SO IMPORTANT. To keep calling trolls fans only feeds them, and it also points towards an agenda, a narrative, to be used to place blame feed the drama by those who do it.

Caitlin Clark is the face of women’s basketball

Once again Clark speaks out against hate, violence, & racism. She's always been a class act. Maybe now the WNBA & media will uplift the league by focusing on the positive like Clark suggested instead of amplifying trolls..

It's so different from Thomas's response. This is what separates Clark from other players

It's not the fans who are spreading hate, I've seen more hate on the basketball court to last a lifetime and that''s what is spreading the hate.

You understand that then her speaking out in this manner will never satisfy her haters and those WNBA women who are jealous of her

CC gives better media interviews than any rookie I've seen in any sport! Sadly none of these people will ever stop, none of these trolls care if CC condemns them. They only want to harass Wnba players and sadly use her name to spread their hate.

I hope this at least gets some of the Wnba Media to back off bashing her. She's caught in the crossfire of a war she wants no part in, please just let her play Ball 😅

The face of a league that doesn't want her as its face.

I continue to be astounded that a 22 yo can exhibit such wisdom. She just takes it all in, the good and the bad, and spreads light. How can anyone not Love this girl. She is an absolute Phenom!

Has she apologized enough for being white for James Boyd to stop asking her this same question? Nobody ever asks Clark how much BS she's taken this year. NOBODY!!!!

Thank you for your analysis of the WNBA and Caitlin Clark. I am one of those new fans that only have watched any basketball because of Caitlin Clark. I haven't always agreed with you, but have always respected your point of view. The hateful comments go both ways.

Great response. But it won't be enough for the DJ Carrington's of the WNBA. She isn't a nice person. She's a manipulative, agenda driven person who will continue to have some bug up her butt about Clark and express her garbage on social media as will others in the W. And there are plenty of angry people that resent Clark's media savvy and popularity that won't be satisfied. They want to mold Clark into something else that Clark won't be molded into. So they want to turn public opinion against her. What I'd like to hear is some speak out in support of her. I know Natasha Cloud and Cunningham on the Suns have, mostly about her play. And that's good. Because, that's what it should be about. Play. And the WNBA needs to stop dragging social media trolls into their public discourse.

Yet the other athletes come out and do nothing but blame and whine and accuse. She could have totally called all of them out, called out the haters that she idolized but have trashed her publicly and the other team's fans who have disrespected her. She has such poise and professionalism and it's tragic that the WNBA organization wants to benefit from her stardom but not treat her with any type of respect.

Every damn WNBA players that's complained last 2 days...what do you see?...she didn't make it woe is me and cry about personal attacks....she didn't give the trolls the satisfaction. Kept it classy and all-encompassing

The Caitlin haters won’t watch that video and I’m 100% sure that WNBA players who are playing victim won’t even acknowledge it

The media and other players want CC to accept the blame for the trolls and bad fans. Of course that same media and players would never accept blame for what they’ve said about CC.

It’s not going to make a difference, she’s not responsible for idiot trolls . The haters will continue to hate her - “They Not Like Us.”

She signed up to play professional basketball and had to dodge physical attacks, lies, jealousy, and all manner of aggression. A hard way to do your job. Still, you held your own, smiled, supported the team, & amazed us with your dedication. Thanks for being such an inspiration.
