I have had tremendous interest in this video and the Excel file. For those of you who just need the file I have updated the link to my own website and this should work permanently. I am giving this away free HOWEVER it is for your own use only, it may not be sold or distributed.

Thank you. I followed your tutorial and I'm giving it a try. I have 4 workers and I enter their times myself from their texts-in and out as they come in and leave every day weekly. Your download link provides an error. No matter, I rolled up my sleeves and made my template by starting and stopping as I entered your moves on my sheet. Grateful for your effort.

Thanks so much, it was so clear and easy to follow. I recreated your spreadsheet while listening to you, so I really understand it. I feel so happy.

You are a life saver! We used to have at time card punch that did military time but that one broke so I had to figure out an easy way to calculate hours with out it taking hours to do! We only have 1 pay period per month so I just added 4 of these columns and at the end I'll figure out a way to add up all the total hours!

Thanks! This is great and easy to follow. Someone (Michelle Hubbard)had ask, how do you replicate this (i.e. make a copy for multiple employees)? It's simple, in the workbook, right click on the sheet tab of existing time sheet. Then click "Move Copy", check the "Create a Copy" box, click OK. The new time sheet tab name will be: Original sheet name (2).

Thanks for the tutorial friend. I really appreciate it. GOD bless you.
Sucks that lazy ppl comment so that you do the work for them instead of asking for help or also complain claiming that this does not work. SMH

How would I write the formula to express all hours over 8 each day are at 1.5 or but if they don't reach 40 hours in a week but work on weekends and go over 40 all hours are at 1.5?

Neat, even if it avoids short cuts in construction.
