If it wasn't for Dave they would have just been a local bar band. Dave is the one with the drive that got them to the top. Kurt didn't like fame but he did like Heroin. If he didn't get his head blown off he would have OD-ed eventually Hard drugs are bad kids, stay with your weed and leave the other crap alone.
 He was the voice of a generation and made hair metal go away.But Dave was the brains of the band IMO
