Thank you so very much! I have had a stroke...fully recovered. Fell and had a reverse shoulder replacement. Have been in therapy now for balance. You fellows are terrific! Keep up the good work. You're the best. Happy Holidays!

I find it helps me balance better if I pick a spot straight ahead and focus on that.

I am 3yrs past a level 3 stroke physical therapy has helped lot my biggest issue right now is walking in inclined areas I do well in level areas and going up hills but walking down an incline gives me the sense of falling a lot does anyone have any advice on how to improve this condition? And thanks.

I’m 71 with two total knee replacements. Still practice Goju karate. I have balance issues if I think about my movements. I think subconsciously I don’t trust my store bought knees. Although they are almost as good as the ones Mom gave me. I just made the 4 shelf mat pads. I am adding this to my morning exercise regiment in the morning. Thanks guys.

2:16 Proprioception / Sensoric / Feeling

3:10 Marks for Visual Input / Pattern. Get help for Balance (Another Person or something else for balance e.g. a Cane)
3:47 Adjust Distance to the Targets/Marks. Low Distance for start, higher distance for a more difficult experience.
4:33 Routine
5:00 Adjusting with Foam for increased Difficulty (5:25 Usage / Routine)
6:01 Visual Input / Modification (Blindfolded is maybe a bit too difficult if you had a stroke or an injury)

7:27 T-Test Setup
8:08 T-Test in action. Shoes on / off. Sunglasses on / off - Assistance (9:30)
10:15 Adjusted Difficulty with the Test (Increased Range, Bend knee, Visual Distractions or Shifting of the Focus)
