The most interesting thing to do would be to lean in on Freiza NOT relying on physical power. This was suggested in the Granolah arc - Freiza didn't kill either Goku nor Vegeta, and he made off with management assets for his empire. IMO, Freiza is going to build an empire which creates a high mortal level, and use that as justification to become the GoD of another universe. This would give him imperial control over universe 7 and divine control over another universe, making him the single most powerful GoD in the universal pantheon so far as it matters.

Honestly i hope Frieza to be the last villain of the original DB storyline. As much as i love the whole story created by Toriyama (even with their ups and downs), it could be a good conclusion of Goku's adventures. Frieza was the arch nemesis of the entire saiyan race and the reason why Goku landed on Earth at all. And now he grows constantly stronger, probably to overthrow even the gods one day. Defeating Frieza one final time in an epic battle could be a great end.

That doesn't mean, that the story of the Dragon Balls should end as well. The crew behind the web comic DB Multiverse has shown how a new story could work with their spin-off about a young boy named Tambo, living a few hundred years in the future, who collects the Dragon Balls to find his mother. But it hasn't to be that far away in the future. After all we got characters like Uub, Pan and Bulla, who still got potential to develop. And yes, this even counts for GT.

If I’ve learned anything from anime, it’s that you can always make someone stronger. Fights could become more technical like HxH or they could just keep scaling them up. Even old villains like Buu could show up from different timelines, they could make gotenks the main character, they could make someone steal zeno’s powers, there’s no end to what they could do.

You could definitely change main characters for the future. Have Goku be a bit in the side lines training beings like Uub, Kale, and Cauifla. Vegeta defeating Frieza once and for all, and then taking him and Cabba to Planet Saldala. Gohan and Broly can take center stage. Piccolo could be out there helping beings like Jiren and close his story.

Goten and trunks can have an arc mastering their fusions. And even possibly mastering SSJ3. You could give the EarthZ fighters a power boost, cause let’s be honest, they are pretty useless rn.

Maybe give Krillin something like what Master Roshi does for a power boost. We know 18 would like that.

Beerus either retire or settle down a bit with a lover, like Cheelai. Goku and Vegeta having one final battle against beerus to see how far they have come. Whis maybe showing off a bit of his power.


There are a lot of good possibilities that don’t require the same song and dance with Goku and Vegeta.

I don't know why only DB of all anime has only 12 universes and 6 timelines.
If they just said there was other universes, not just a specific number they could have managed something new or better villain for the storyline.
There is literally no greater enemy left except turning the gods and angels evil

To answer the final question of the video, I'd speculate that they will need to start using different gimmicks instead of just relying on the old formula of scaling ever higher. There's three primary sources of power already pre-established in the series: Magic, Technology, and Ki. Just getting really strong with ki doesn't necessarily defend you from magic attacks for instance, so they could start doing more like what they did with early Moro in which a character uses a type of power that just being brutally strong with ki doesn't act as a perfect counter to. Something like how Hit's Time Skip was able to compete with SSB levels of power.

Additionally, if they do go the route of a big final team up against Freeza, I'd expect the pathway forward would be individual stories to highlight each of the characters. That could come in the form of spinoff series or it could come in the form of arcs that just highlight certain characters specifically. We could have an arc where Gohan is the main character, an arc about the U6 Saiyans, an arc with Broly as the main character, etc. This could allow for a return to fighting ki based opponents without them necessarily having to be stronger than what came before, because the individual characters being highlighted aren't able to handle that level of power on their own but could still feasibly struggle against something weaker than what came before.

Finally, a shift in perspective for the stakes could do a lot of good for the series too. Everything doesn't need to be about saving the world or time/space/the universe itself. You can tell compelling stories about saving a group of people from oppressors or rescuing a family member or finding some legendary artifact, much like how recently Daima was primarily about rescuing Dende and restoring the group's child bodies to their adult states.

I honestly think it would be funny to have the next arc take place on earth during the black Freiza arc where the villain is just strong enough to take out the humans but when goku and the rest come back they just demolish the villain with a single ki blast

We need a Galactic War Saga, it's where many DBZ Movie Villains become cannon. Cooler arrives with a army of Frost Demons aliens, Bojack with Heater race army, Lord Slug with evil Namekians that are mutated as well as female Namekians, and Garlic Jr has partnered with Janemba and Tapion. Also Turles- revived Saiyans who are as strong as SSJ3 at base level.

Still shows Broly as having the most potential of any z fighter imo. His super saiyan matches god tier transformations. Not saying he's stronger, but definitely has the potential to be the most cracked fighter to date.
Although I'm not sure his power directly could compete with the way ultra instinct functions as a fighting style... It directly counters and subdues rage and raw strength bc it's not based at all on how angry or tough you are...Calmness and discipline.

Honestly, after they beat and surpass Black Frieza I want to see Goku have his rematch against Beerus and conclusively defeat him. That should lead to end of Z and the training with Uub. Beyond that introduce a new villain from outside U7 since the cast is already the strongest in U7 aside from Whis, Beerus and Frieza. Maybe include some alternate timelines shenanigans and have Trunks come back again as well.

I stole this from somewhere, but when android 17 said revive the universes, he said it very vaguely so thay might have revived the other 6 universes that were destroyed before the ToP
