when I got my special education qualifications years ago, this is exactly the first thing our instructor told us. I like to think that his instruction helped me become maybe not a better teacher, but an understanding one.

We all have our private sides and our public personas, doesn't that go without saying? It's always good to be positive around people. We don't know what kind of trouble they're going through. I like this quote from Ram Dass: "We're all just walking each other home."

Yes, I can relate. It is so important to always be kind to people. We shouldn't pass judgement on anyone because of their appearance, attitude, status, etc., for we don't know what their life is like. If they need assistance & you can't extend a helping hand, then please, silently ask God to bless them. I personally treat others the way I'd want to be treated. What a wonderful world it would be if we would just love one another, like God loves us. Sending you all love, light, peace, & healing.

Twenty years ago I was working as a forklift driver at a factory overnight. I have an extremely bad abuse history, and at twenty six I was just a mess. My anxiety was through the roof and I always felt like people could see through me and see how fucked up I was.

Well. One night, we were all outside on the picnic table, smoking, eating, talking. All of the sudden out of nowhere one of the older ladies started sobbing. Just out of nowhere. Her friends kind of embraced her and led her over to a corner to comfort her.

I just had a thunderclap realization at that point. No one knows what is going on inside. We all hide ourselves.

So no one is really thriving in this system. Maybe its time to build something new.
