Do you love the look of this blacked out version of the hyper 212?? Are you going to get it?

Thanks for the review, just getting the CM 212 Black Edition today. The stock Stealth cooler on AMD 5 3600 really didn't cut it, would go up to 80-90 degrees when gaming! Looking forward to new videos!

I ran all stock coolers up till my i7-9700. The stock on the i7 was so loud and didnt do the job well at all on cooling my cpu. Switching to this cooler was actually game changing, i never knew my pc could be that quiet lmao

If anyone is using this on a Ryzen I highly recommend going into bios and tweaking the fan curve. Most people install these coolers and just leave them, if you tweak the curves you can learn how your system behaves and easily get more cooling performance and much more stable curves.

I installed this cooler with the supplied thermal paste and added a second 1500rpm fan to the supplied 2000rpm fan in a push pull set up. I got 4-5 deg celcius cooler temp results with the second fan when I ran my R5 3600 on stock settings under heavy graphic editing load (PixInsight) and got 71-72 deg in a well ventilated case. Idle temp is low 30's. I hope this info helps as well.

I used the intel stock cooler on my 10400f for like a year. I ordered a cm hyper 212 black edition last week it arrived yesterday and I immediately installed it.
I went from 65-75 degrees celsius playing games. To only 50 degrees celsius max. Very nice cooler with an easy installation.

P.S in certain areas playing rdr2 it even got close to 90 degrees celsius with the stock cooler. And with the cm hyper 212 black it never gets above 55 degrees celsius.

Great video! Good quality and great information. I was looking for information in how the Hyper 212 BE performs in a push/pull configuration, and you are the only one who tals about this. Thanks a lot and keep it up!!

I've rebuilt computers many times for my job, but I've never done my own build from base components. I'm getting a Ryzen 3700X and the wealth of options for various components for my entire gaming build has been intimidating. I don't intend on doing much overclocking, if any. Thanks for this video. You were thorough without getting super technical.

This was a beautiful demonstration! I’ve been trying to find a video that does Push/Pull since I plan on doing Push/Pull with the 212 if I do end up going for this cooler. Thank you!! Excellent work.

Awesome video. Just ordered a 212 for my i7 9700F I have the Intel stock fan right now and it’s soooo loud. Hopefully this will be a good upgrade.

Sooo, I have this thing and I installed one fan on one side (the normal fan that comes included) and one spare coolermaster fan I got from a case that I didn't use on the other side. Running this setup, genuinely, saw a DECREASE in cooling performance (of up to 5C in most cases) than with just one fan.

What am I doing wrong (total newbie btw)? I removed the fan afterward and sure enough I saw an increase in cooling again.

When he says Push and Pull, does the pushing mean he is exhausting air from the heatsink or is he pushing cool air into the heatsink. I ordered one and it hasn't arrived yet but from the statistics (I have a Ryzen 5 2600x using the Gigabyte b450M DS3H motherboard) It shows that the Push on the Cooler Master Hyper 212 is better than the pull so I am wondering if I should be exhausting out heat from the heatsink or drawing air into the heatsink.

Any chance you could test a be quiet! Dark Rock Slim with TWO fans in a push/pull configuration? I’ve been watching your videos on coolers because of the various configurations you’re testing (no one’s really doing this) and also the Arctic Freeze 34 with a smaller 4 heat pipe cooler and dual fan. Keep up the good work!

I’m torn between the Arctic Freezer 34 duo and the Hyper 212 BE. The Arctic Freezer has been 79CAD since human malware began but the hyper212 is only 54CAD. Waiting for black friday till I snag one of these. Is the higher price on the freezer 34 worth it? From the sound test they’re louder than the 212.
