I enjoyed Earth up until a 2 player game where myself and the other player both got to 3 cards away from game end trigger. Neither of us wanted to choose the play cards action because then the other would be able to take the same action on their turn and get the game end bonus points. I can easily see how the game state could come to that frequently with experienced players.

Your thoughts mirrored my experiences. I was really excited to play it on BGA several times and with the draw pulls I couldn't get my engine going to my satisfaction. I like TM:A better because I like the cleared goals than some of the goals of having cards with animal names in the title
