Pakistan: Shehbaz Sharif Steps Down as PML-N Party President | Subscribe to Firstpost

Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has stepped down as the president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party. He said that the “time has come” for his brother Nawaz Sharif to retake his “rightful place as the party president”. Nawaz Sharif was removed as the party president in 2018 after a Supreme Court bench ruled that he cannot hold any public office.
