For a more tailored look consider mounting the curtains hiding the foyer closet and the pantry to the inside of each opening allowing the opening to be defined by the crisp drywall corners.

I spent two winters in a trailer on the Mogollion Rim and like to froze. Spent some days in bed with the little heater next to me. And you are warming your gorgeous home with the SUN. the only thing i could only complain about is the fact the rainwater is getting lost underground which actually is something to think about when you are living in the desert, excellent work, such a great place u have there.
