Bang Bang

These big, thick, pingy high notes are a ton of fun to play with; very satisfying! ;-) As you explore your boldest, high notes, here’s a tip: relax! That’s a tricky piece of advice because it does take some muscle, per se, to support these sounds BUT if you’re tense allllllll over, you’ll be (accidentally) in your own way! If you want to maintain any level of agility, you gotta chill, fam. It’s a fine balance.

Furthermore, I urge you to explore how much “juice”, as I call it, you ACTUALLY need to create and maintain the sound because if you over do it, you’ll be on the struggle bus. You’ll fatigue quickly, and again, and rapid movement becomes tricky. Play, play, play with it. Remember that these ARE sounds the human voice is capable of making in day to day life. Explore!
