When I heard this case my heart broke because it could be any of us and he was a good man and loving according to what I heard. To be taken away forever because of someone who was stealing from him is unbelievable. Before this point, I pretty much knew this would be the outcome. Actually exceeded my expectations by setting the max to 5 years. I was sure it was going to be less than 6 months. If the story were reversed the outcome would be totally different and we all know it, unfortunately. Sending condolences to all his loved ones and friends. I wish I had a way to make all parents not have to feel such a pain. Especially knowing their child was doing nothing wrong at all.🙏🏿❤️

The DA has to also consider if they have enough evidence to convince a Jury. If the jury finds them not guilty then there would be no punishment at all.
