the one thing that I love about thrifting that is better than retail for me is the wide variety of items that can be find. For example, I love vintage. I often find items from the 80's and 90's at the thrift. And, I love the red white and blue thrift stores. I will be going to one later this month. Have a great weekend.

Yes thrifting is not what it use to be. I sometimes find better prices for new items at Macy's Last Act section. I still thrift but just for unique pieces.

I gave a beautiful Mohagany set to a co worker in 2007. Tell me why I walked into Goodwill my exact set was there I purchased it back for 15.00 with senior discount. My 35 year old son complimented me on the set the other day. I literally have 3 dining sets to donate or give away to less fortunate I'm not a pub style person. The table and 6 chairs is still in beautiful condition...Vintage and good will is the way to go especially at my age because I remember quality
