Damn it's so sad to see KDB decline these rapid as a liverpool fan I always hated this guy cause of how good he was especially against Liverpool. His passing, vision, and technique make him an unmatched player so sad to see him like these

Extremely harsh to criticize him when the ENTIRE team had been poor. It must.be remembered that he has been injured a lot lately as well as Pep ridiculously no longer playing through KDB. Peps tactics baffle me. They have the largest striker in world football yet they dont cross the ball into the box??? When KDB, Cancelo did cross the ball into the box, we all saw what used to happen. Haaland used to net way more. Its not just KDB, its Peps tactics as well. Its a decline of the entire team, not just KDB. He is a player who needs a free role, not what Pep is doing.

Seen people comparing KDB to 39 yr old Modric & it’s not the same. KDB tore his hamstring to apart to take City to a Treble, came back & won a 4th Prem in a row. Modric plays like once every two weeks in Liga & is a 70th min sub in UCL. KDB is still an All-Timer.

Rather than just write him off, you can play him as an impact sub for the last 30 minutes of the game.
He is still great with the ball.

Of course, the club will have to negotiate new contract terms with him and possibly transit him to the coaching staff.
He is after all a true man city legend and players will look up to him.

Only problem is the injuries, I saw a world class performance of him last sunday against Ukraine for Belgium. He wsn't just the captain, he was the leader, set the most pressure, assist, pre-assist, helping to defend, this man is so not ready to retire and we'll hopefully see him play good for some more years (in Europe).

It doesn’t help that he went through a divorce. I think KDB’s issues are more mental than anything. I think he still has loads of games left in him…he might need to leave Man City though.

KDB is one of my favorite players to watch over the past decade, but sadly the magic is gone this season. I hope he can make a comeback, but with injuries at this age it seems unlikely.

Who ever replaces KDB don't compare them to KDB it is unfair to them. KDB built his reputation from the ground up when he got here and some of you media are still saying he is not the best! Even on his worst day he is still better than a lot of players past and present. In my book you can go take a flying leap!

Hes not the same anymore after tearing his hamstrings n returning after months but i think ppl r overreacting, we cant expect player like kdb who is also old by football standard to hit the ground running like before

De Bruyne is still very much in his prime; it's just that Pep stopped playing him. He and John Stones can still play at the highest level for the next three to four years.
