Are you starting on Arduino and Electronics by watching Arduino introduction tutorials?
Have you already watched quite a few "best Arduino projects" videos, but still you do not understand enough concepts to build your own?

☼ You are not stupid ☼
You are on the wrong path. Just get a good book. Reading back and forth, going with your own pace, is only done by reading. That is the fastest and the "deepest understanding" route.

After a good read, videos are fully recommended.

So... I hope here is a good read (I hope and believe, one in the top 10)

Just released !!!

Title: Practical Electronics and Arduino in 8 Hours 2022 Edition
by Jim Fragos

Go make your ideas!
Jim

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Onto more details: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whom this book is for:
Anyone, from a high school student to a university’s degree in any field. Required background in mathematics and physics is almost zero. For absolute beginners and those who have already taken their very first steps in electronics.
What can you expect to learn?
► Speak the language of Electronics & Embedded Systems Engineers
► Understand the most useful hardware and software concepts in deep level, from the ground ↗ up
► Gain applied knowledge of the real-world electronic components of the latest technology
► Practical assembly techniques, measuring techniques, and lab equipment are covered
► Understand what a microcontroller is and get your hands on the one inside the Arduino Uno board
► Make your simple programs and understand simple programs made by others
► Understand most of the electronics connection diagrams (schematics) of Arduino projects
► Make electronic circuits of your design with self-guided further reading
If you want to build electronics yourself, the purpose of this book is to start you up. Your foundations will be built upon the latest technology (as of 2022)
Learning approach
Following the motive: "I know ≠ I understand", the narration moves from 0 to X with no gaps. Unlike receiving “skin” knowledge by visiting a series of projects, the book attempts to take you “deep inside” the hardware and programming concepts on the fastest and most exciting route. Deep enough to be able to continue by yourself in building your ideas.
Equations and mathematical theory are avoided like hell throughout all of the book. Pictorial intuition for understanding the cause-and-effect and making you avoid the most common mistakes is where the focus is on.
* Includes great Arduino explanation tutorials
* Includes great Arduino programming tutorials
* Includes a "must-have" Arduino language programming introduction
* Includes maybe the best introduction to real electronic components engineering and how-to use in real world projects
Personal opinion: This book will take the least time to provide:
* The ultimate beginners guide to Arduino
* The ultimate way to learn Arduino and learn electronic circuits how-to
* The ultimate way to explain Arduino and electronics
* Includes maybe the best introduction to electronic components engineering
* In case you want to teach electronics and Arduino to students, but you are missing practical and engineering matters involved, this is for you. If you are teaching, a book is also a lot more usable than videos
