Yea I love the ordinary bc it was my first step into the skincare world. I learned about many ingredients and how to use them. Now I only use a couple of their products, but I still highly respect them. I give Hyram and The Ordinary a gold trophy for being the reasons I’m so into skincare to begin with.

Preach! During the pandemic I was turning into a mad scientist trying different stuff on my face. I've finally chilled out and found a routine that is "low and slow." It's made all the difference. (Also, I love your shirt.)

My skin actually loves the ordinary those single ingredients. I used to use expensive products but didn't work and not worth it. I like it simple and use the right ingredients at the right time. True about consistency over intensity

I’m on 0.01% tretinoin and, over the course of a year, it has proven to be as effective as 0.1% tretinoin. So many dermatologists confirm this. I even use it on my under eyes and it has been great

I love the single actives in most of The Ordinary's products, because I have ridiculously sensitive skin and it can be impossible to figure out which ingredient in a formula is causing a reaction. I never thought I'd ever tolerate vitamin C, retinoids, or anything else. I discovered that derivatives are my best friends. One of the few combination serums I can tolerate - and my favorite - is Hylamide Subq Skin (and the eye serum and facial mist from the same line). Sadly, all discontinued, so I'm going through the last of my stash and looking for a new favorite. Had I not had such an easy time of trial and error with The Ordinary's products, I doubt I'd have taken a chance on much beyond cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

That avene one in the middle is so good. Been using it for years and really have noticed a difference. Its just hard to source sometimes because its clearly sold in small batches. Every store that sells it where i live says they only get like 2-4 bottles at a time and can go weeks and weeks without before they get more

What are your thoughts on Bakuchiol as an alternative to Retinol? I’m really interested to know what your thoughts are on this substance.

There are instructions on the ordinary 's website though so if people f' ed up their skin, they were lazy about it. Don't blame the ordinary

Question, since Retinol is unstable, shouldn't The Ordinary serum be in an air tight pump instead of reacting with air while we apply?

Start from the lower percentage…to test your skin’s sensitivity.

The Ordinary is the epitome of the expression *Double Edged Sword* A godsend if used reading and understanting the actives (or pro advice), but refrigerating water from Chyornobill if used tiktokily. 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤

Could you please let me know if at night I could use: toner, eye cream, vitamin C, azelaic acid and Tretinoin 0.1%. Is this sequence ok?

Can you explain how to layer different kind of consistency of tretinoin? I use a cream one so idk if I should apply moisturizer after and if so do I have to wait a bit?

I can't tolerate .1 tretinoin even a year after transitioning up, but I do great on .025
Always curious why?
