I've been working for the United States Postal Service for 4 years and it was not at all like I thought it would be. I've worked for the Department of Treasury for almost 31 years and the USPS is nothing like other government jobs. The USPS is not only hard on your body, it's hard on your mind even though work is mind numbing. The environment is very toxic and very disorganized. The pay is only partly decent with a lot of overtime. We shouldn't have to rely on overtime to make a living.

30 years working at the post office I have seen the good, bad, and the ugly side within its walls. This channel is pretty accurate in its assessment of what you will experience during your career in the post office regime. Being castigated by managers and supervisors, and dog bites should also be included.

I just started my CCA 2 weeks ago and its been my worst decision i made worked 8 hrs for 6 days my pay check 1, 320 divid that in 2 weeks only 600 weekly to bust my ass in the rain and hot weather to be micromanage by calling me constantly asking how are you doing ? How many relays you have left? Expecting you to do a 4 to 6 hrs wen regulars take 8 to 12 hrs to do no break no luches just to get yelled at why are you slow? Why do i need to send you help all the time? Youre 30 day evaluation is coming up after 2 weeks on the job quitting 😅
