I’m admittedly a Tesla fanboy, but in the Hummer’s defense, it has plenty of range. The vehicle isn’t the problem. It’s the charging infrastructure that’s the issue. Tesla has it sorted. No one else does yet.

I just bought a 2023 Tesla model 3 base model. 25k miles. And I got it for 22k. Perfect condition

Noticed that with Porsche Taycan too. Crazy how they went from over $200k to under $100k so quickly in the span of two years here in Canada.

$20k is what a 2020 should be if Covid never happened. If you recall the model 3 was like $31k starting price before Covid

I’m not a big podcast guy, but if you 2 did podcasts together all the time, that would be cool! You both compliment each other

I mean, the original price is less than 100k for the cyber beast… these 3rd party deals are ridiculous for sure. Just wait

Thing about tesla depreciation is it happens so fast. Most cars dont depreciate till after 3-4 years and a new model comes out. A tesla will depreciate 10s of thousands in less then a year.

Cars getting cheaper is a good thing overall, transportation costs needs to continue to drop. Tesla is the best commuting vehicle to ever exist, they are also revolutionary in the manufacturing space and will continue to drive prices down, this is the right thing to do. People complaining about losing money on the purchases are early adopters who are still going to get incredible value if they keep their vehicle long enough to realize it but that is the cost of early adoption, period, case closed. Buy a Tesla when you can afford it reasonably and get yourself to relearn what a vehicle is supposed to be and you will be in a future where transportation is finally sustainable and remember this is the worst it will ever be. Batteries will improve dramatically over time, FSD will work as we all hope at least soon, charging will be faster and easier as time goes on. This is all happening and will not stop because remember it is built on the foundation that you burn about 80% of the stored energy in your gas tank as waste heat, it literally is wasted. EVs, despite the challenges of today with range and charging is still very competitive cost wise but it will only get better and you use 90% or more of the stored energy in the battery for moving the car vs 20% in an ICE vehicle. Batteries will soon have as much stored energy as a fuel tank and then ICE is economically a dead technology, wake up everyone, as Agent Smith said, it is inevitable.

I ordered early and have been asked to configure but the current CT is not what I originally ordered. I still want my CT but originally it was $50k for a dual and I upped the configuration to a tri at $70k which was pushing it for me. Now I’m looking at $100k+ for a dual for 150k less in range. The less range was a big disappointment but not a deal breaker . I’ll wait for a cheaper version or until the stock goes to the moon.

I want a CT but not for that price. So I'm patiently waiting for everyone that is willing to pay that price to get there's first. Looks like it's going to be a few years.

The reason for the drop is hertz flooding the market selling off their fleet

So this is the market for the AWD CT not the Beast. The AWD is being made at a 20/1 ratio and that is why it is tanking in the market. If you look at Beast it is not the same

James, been watching these pod casts. The audio sounds amazing as I deal with Shure products everyday. What would be so cool is if you turned the simulator room into a podcast room. If you’re interested let me know. I have been in the industry for 30 years and it would be so cool to for me to help you on this. Love your channel, I am an O.G.

We all know that one guy that has to be the first one buying and showing off a certain products. I love how these idiots got wrecked by shelling 200K just to be the first kid on the block with a Cybertruck

You don’t have to be a genius to figure out it is overpriced.

You really don't see too many cyber trucks in northern California 💯 next year they'll be 50-60k 2:31

These are car dudes who don’t know how much trucks cost. It’s on par with loaded up full size trucks, but you get better software and it’s the only vehicle that gets better over time because of OTA software updates.

I’m happy for anyone who gets to buy the vehicle of their choice. I hold zero hard feelings. But, us average folks reserve the right to laugh when your 200k vehicle isn’t as practical as our common man vehicles

It's already the number one ev pickup for sales in America. So if it's such a failure the others must be doing very poorly.
