I understand that this is a touchy subject not easily explained, tried my best to be as objective and plain with the info portrayed in this video however I'm sure some parts will be easily disputed.

I just figured you may need a little context before the #Iran and #Iraq episodes. This is a very complex topic and I AM NOT YOUR GO-TO-PERSON to speak authoritatively on this issue, but I will try my best to give as much objective information as possible to somewhat explain the scenario as best as possible. PLEASE Correct me if I am wrong on anything in this video!

Tamils in India do not want a separate nation. We already have a separate state. I guess you meant Tamils in Sri Lanka?

I work with Iraqi Kurds in refugee camps, and I find their culture very respectful, warm, and hardworking. I wish their people the very best

I'm from Finland, and I had two kurdish friends growing up. I was always curious about this but never had the nerve to ask them. All I knew is they were super religious and super patriotic(for Kurdistan obvs)

I respect all the Kurds in my city (Aleppo/Halep) we lived in centuries together without any kind of discrimination as a türkman Syrian person I would like to say that we should join all together to rebuild our beautiful country Syria and I agree of course I support taking all their legitimate rights in the future but under secular and democratic with federal system in our country Syria, love you Kurds, Türks and Arabs..

Fun fact.
Sultan Süleyman mentioned Kurdistan by name in his letter to the king of France 5 centuries ago.

Your map of "Iraqi Kurdistan" is a bit outdated. KRG now covers Sinjar and a portion of the Nineweh plains between Erbil and Mosul. I know because I'm an American who has driven his motorcycle in those areas and the checkpoints are Peshmerga with Kurdistan flags not Iraqi police. If it were Iraqi police I wouldn't be allowed through. (If any Kurdistani think I'm incorrect please correct me but this is what I have come to understand of the security situation.

Also, there is an independence referendum being held on September 25th. Should be interesting.

1:12 "...you could argue that the larger Tamil group in India kinda has a thing going on..." I don't know where you got this info, but I'm pretty sure there is nothing going on with the Tamil society in India. Some one with a messed up half baked opinion must've told you this.

As someone who is of Kurdish and Armenian descent into my father’s side, my mother who is Turkish from Edirne and Trabzon would always tell me not to say your father is Kurdish when we would visit her family in Edirne or Trabzon.

I am Iranian and as he said: "Kurds are our cousins!" I salute you my Kurdish brothers and sisters! Whatever decision you make we are 100% behind you. And I know so many Iranians feel the same way. (Not talking about politics though, I'm talking about how we feel about you) Love to you all <3 <3.
