Once upon a time I was a cable tv installer/technician and once a month they made us go collect payments before shutting off peoples cable when they fell behind on their payments. I used to pray for sunny days so I could wear sunglasses! I'm sure this is no longer a practice. This was 25 years ago.

I love sunglasses too but since i have high power, i need prescription sunglasses especially made for me and i have two of those! I sometimes wear contacts just so that i can wear my dad's sunglasses.


Btw, Inspired by your crochet projects, I'm finally crocheting my first top!!
The only things that I've actually finished crocheting is a shawl, a small wallet for my mom & crocheted bracelets and hairbands for my lil cousins. I've never tried to crochet clothing before, and never a cable at that. So, the idea is to incorporate the things I've learned so far by watching your cable crochet tops/sweater videos.

I was thinking of creating a sleeveless alpine top with V shape cable on the chest area, cable straps & forming a cabled racer back, starting from the bottom.

I`m crocheting this top for myself but I am using dk yarn and a 4 mm hook. The problem I am having is when I crochet the bottom of the top gets longer. It's like it's stretching and it gets worse as I go on. When you fold the top in half it doesn`t line up.
I am counting the stitches, using markers, but it keeps stretching. It's never happened before and I don`t know how to solve it, do you know what could be causing it as it's sending me crazy.
