Zhang Weili - The UFC's Dream

We have every reason to believe that Zhang Weili took MMA to the next level. At UFC Shenzhen, she became the fist ever Chinese UFC champion by finishing Jessica Andrade spectacularly. There will be a short breakdown of that fight in this video.

And she wasn't the only Chinese fighter who won that night. Li Jingliang, in particular, had a brilliant performance. For a huge market like China, UFC Shenzhen was a massive step forward.

But it's not only about China... The next two UFC PPVs will both be HUGE International events. One in Abu Dhabi, and one in Australia.

This is truly becoming a global sport, and Zhang Weili might have accelerated that growth more than we might think.

The UFC's Official Youtube Channel had 7,1 M subscribers before UFC Shenzhen. Look at that number a few weeks from now.
It might change a bit...

Commentator, timing, range control, footwork are attributes that supplement her speed and evasiveness. SHe's well rounded and instinctive. Cracks me up how many people, including other fighters were surprised at the outcome of this fight. I won a grand. She's got the best complete technique I've ever seen in the cage. Leave it to Chine to introduce a TRUE martial artist to MMA.

Não vejo a hora de ver a chinesinha defendendo seu cinturão nos EUA. Pegará desafiante de primeira qualidade. Pra confirmar minha ótima impressão, revi vários vídeos sobre lutas dela. Realmente, confirmaram que a chinesinha é fera na luta, boa na trocação e no chão, além de ser bem rápida. No chão, ela não perde tempo, buscando finalizar. . Ela fica por cima e já dá porradas violentas, acompanhadas de cotoveladas na cara da adversária. É implacável! E ela fica na ponta dos pés ao lutar. Jéssica, por exemplo, luta com os pés plantados no chão.
