🇺🇸 USS Theodore Roosevelt & USS Winston S Churchill Arrive At Portsmouth England.

The huge aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt and destroyer USS Winston Churchill, are visiting Portsmouth UK, its great to see them, and amazing how many aircraft are on the deck of the carrier.

I served onboard the USS Winston S. Churchill from 2013 to 2017. I was onboard standing somewhere up front in this video. Seeing this from the ships point of view was amazing. Had a great time in England. Thank you so much for everyone's hospitality.

just a heads up. england was amazing from portsmouth to london...we were treated great and everyone was friendly and helpful. i just flew off the carrier on new orders and had the pleasure of visiting your awesome country...the best port out of the 3 we visited thus far.

That ship is a commemoration of America's and England's brotherhood stamped by blood and sacrifice towards the freedom of the world. So god bless that ship, God bless America, and God bless England.

Bit of useless information: Winston S Churchill is the only US Navy boat that flies the Royal Navy White Ensign as well as the US flag at all times and by tradition always has a Royal Navy Officer as Navigating Officer. The Theodore Roosevelt has 6 Royal Navy deck hands on attachment for training in preparation for the QE Class carriers. It is bloody big though!
